Previously, the Huang Tianyu team of the School of Computer Science of North Technology and the Zhang Hong team of the School of Marxism won the national first prize in the second and third competitions respectively, achieving the national first prize for three years。

National College teachers Teaching Innovation Competition,Under the direction of the Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education,Sponsored by the Chinese Association of Higher Education,The competition aims to "promote innovation in teaching.,Training first-class talents "as the theme,To build a high-quality education system,We will deepen teaching reform in higher education,Effectively help the "four new" construction;Give full play to the demonstration and leading role of the competition,Comprehensively promote curriculum ideological and political construction,Carefully build the benchmark of teaching innovation and communication of college teachers。
Launched in November 2023, the competition is divided into 7 "tracks", including new engineering, new medical science, new agricultural science, new liberal arts, basic courses, curriculum ideology and politics, and integration of industry and education. Each "track" is divided into 3 groups according to the professional and technical positions of participating teachers。The nationals at the Midlife track will take place in November。A total of 104,656 teachers from 1,249 universities participated, and 1,779 teachers entered the national competition。Finally, a total of 73 first prizes, 170 second prizes, and 240 third prizes were selected。
As the main organizer of the Beijing Competition area, Beijing Institute of Technology led a team of Beijing university teachers to participate in the national competition, and finally won 5 first prizes, 7 second prizes, and 11 third prizes, demonstrating the teaching innovation ability of Beijing university teachers。
Previously, in the Beijing Competition held in May 2024, all 7 participating teams of Beijing Institute of Technology won awards, including 3 first prizes, 3 second prizes, and 1 third prizes, ranking in the forefront of Beijing universities。
At the closing ceremony, Yang Zhihong, deputy director of the school Committee, took over the flag of the competition on behalf of the school。The 5th National College Teachers' Teaching Innovation Competition will be hosted by Beijing Institute of Technology in July 2025。
