Zou Rui introduced Wu Dachang and the process of reading essays into books。Wu Dachang is one of the founders of the first tank power major in New China, and is the main representative of the first generation of vehicle people in the "Three generations of vehicles" of Beijing Institute of Technology。In 2016, the school's Customs and Work Committee established a reading club for senior party members. Wu Dachang, who was 98 years old at the time, actively participated in the club, insisted on reading and learning, and wrote more than 10 reading experiences, which involved a wide range of fields, which contained Wu Dachang's lifelong learning spirit, knowledge, wisdom and family feelings。The Close Working Committee of our school collected 10 manuscripts of reading experience written by Wu Dachang from 98 to 105 years old in the name of "Luxuriation of Words -- Old Professor Wu Dachang's Reading Essays" and compiled them into a book。

Sun Guoquan, Song Xibo and Wang Duo spoke highly of Wu Dachang's learning spirit and excellent character from different angles, and said that they should earnestly draw on the power of example contained in Wu Dachang's reading essays, and actively guide teachers and students to love reading, read good books and be good at reading。
